A dental bridge is a beautiful way of restoring missing teeth without the need for surgery, using only your adjacent teeth. Porcelain crowns, matching to your existing teeth, flawlessly blend to give your full smile back.

At Paste we usually use layered Emax “lithium disilicate” or zirconia and work with our chosen master ceramicist to create these special restorations.

We often use temporary bridging, made quickly and with care by our ceramicist. This is a great option during healing, after an extraction, so that nobody ever has to wear a denture.

We like to offer a full range of treatment options to a patient and believe that when a front tooth experiences trauma and unfortunately cannot be saved, a dental bridge or a dental implant are the treatments of choice.

We always want to be very careful when designing your smile to create beautiful symmetry with your other natural teeth, particularly the symmetrical tooth across your smile line on the other side.

Often a dental bridge with a correctly formed “pontic” artificial tooth can achieve better results than a dental implant when looking at the emergence profile from your gum and gum colour. Dental implants also work well, but usually we recommend soft tissue grafting first prior to the dental implant, to mimic a natural emergence from the gum and to replace the tissue lost during the process of tooth loss.
